Royal Street Campuses
At 520 Royal Street you’ll find current exhibitions, The Shop at The Collection, and Café Cour. 533 Royal Street is home to the Louisiana History Galleries and the Williams Residence house museum (both currently closed). The courtyards at both campuses feature interpretive displays.
Chartres Street Campus
The Chartres Street campus at 410 Chartres Street is home to the Williams Research Center. Here researchers can explore our extensive collections in the Reading Room (currently open by appointment only).
Admission to THNOC is free. We are offering timed ticketing to allow for social distancing in our galleries. Timed entrances are available every 30 minutes, on the hour and half-hour. You may register for tickets online up to seven days in advance of your visit. You may also walk in to register for tickets, but you may need to wait until the next timed entrance if our galleries have reached their maximum capacity for that time period. Your safety is important to us, and we appreciate your patience.
The Shop at The Collection, located at 520 Royal Street, features an eclectic mix of jewelry, stationary, home décor, pottery, handbags, scarves, books, and more. You’ll find many unique items designed or handcrafted by local artists, and several pieces made exclusively for The Shop.
Café Cour is located in the courtyard at 520 Royal Street. The menu reflects the region’s multi-cultural culinary influences and offers gluten-free, vegetarian, pescatarian, and vegan options. Members enjoy a 10 percent discount at the café. Food and beverages from the café may be enjoyed in the courtyard, but they are not allowed in the buildings.
